Cecelia, 

The traditional role of an organization's president is to take legal action (ie. signing contracts, etc.) based on the consensus of the board of directors. This role does not include canceling meetings with the organization's attorney without consulting anyone, filing legal documents without a board meeting and secretly meeting with others to form a new organization and board without consulting the membership. No matter what language you want to put around it, your behavior is not acceptable!
