• Treasurer’s Report

• TOTA Update-Feb. 28, 2009, 6:00pm. Sweet Cakes Bakery (Emily Hill-alum) will donate snacks for a refreshment table outside of the art gallery. Ean and Erik are looking into various gift certificates for the silent auction. Paige is donating pottery for the silent auction. Buy your tickets now! $25, $50, $80 at btwhsptsa.org *Alumni donated approx. 15 items for the TOTA silent auction!
• TOTA Tickets-voted for the Alumni Association to buy 4 tickets ($25 each) and raffle them off randomly online. Vote passed.
• Pegasus-Paige reported that a VA alum has offered his services to come in from Santa Fe and work on the Pegasus for 2 weeks. It needs 72 new feathers, is copper now but we can use a different metal, and disassemble and reassemble at new location.  Transport + refurb work + concrete base = $10K. Artist time =$4K. Erik offered to spearhead looking into outside sources for donated time, resources, and help (art transport, commercial metals). Location on campus was discussed. Routh St corner and where the old stone sculpture were discussed. We will come up Plan A, B, C and go from there.
• Spring 2009 Alumni event. Memorial Day Weekend. May 22 & 23. (Juliana Williams-Chairperson)
  1. Need to form committee. One rep from each cluster.
  2. Friday, May 22: Formal Performance in MAT. Tech 4:30-7:00. Show at 8. Possible School Tours that day/afternoon. *will ask if each cluster wants representation in this show too.
  3. Saturday, May 23: 10am-2pm Master Classes and school tours. Put call on website and have alumni ‘apply’ to teach class. Hold vote. $5-$10 to attend. Need to pay for Security and Custodians ($720- $300 custodian, $420 Security- 2 of each). Possibly need to pay for HVAC costs as well. Will be open to grad seniors and maybe juniors as space allows. Discussed having forums with reps from talent agencies, ReelFX, music and theater people. Art Show opening will take place this day too. Talked about offering donated gift cards in lieu of payment to people who teach class or run a panel/forum.
  4. Saturday night. Event at Dada. Same set-up as Holiday Party.  Paige will chair the Sat night party.

·        Attorney and CPA search-Everyone look for people. Brian said he knew of an attorney at Kelly & Witherspoon who he will contact. Jennifer Roberts who is an alumnus is an attorney we could turn to for advice. CPA-wait until after taxes.
